Elisa Branca is a qualified lawyer from the University of Geneva.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws in 2017, followed by a Certificate in Transnational Law in 2018, and completed her studies with a Master of Laws and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Legal Professions in 2019.
She distinguished herself by winning the award for the best average given by the Genf-Gesellschaft for her Certificate in Transnational Law.
Alongside her studies, Elisa Branca consolidated her professional experience.
She was a research and teaching assistant in the Department of History and Legal and Political Doctrines at the University of Geneva in 2018, as well as a jurist in the Firm (2017-2019).
Elisa Branca then continued her legal traineeship with the Legal Affairs Department of the Chancellery of the State of Geneva (2019-2020), before joining our Firm in June 2020 to finalize it
Since her admission to the Geneva Bar in October 2021, she has been working as an associate in our team, bringing a rigorous legal approach to every case.
Every week, she publishes a Newsletter providing an overview of the case law handed down by the Swiss Federal Supreme Court in the firm's main areas of activity, whose quality has been recognized by Mondaq in 2024.
From 2025 onwards, Elisa Branca will begin a new specialization with a view to obtaining a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Magistrature, awarded by the Swiss Academy of Magistrates.
Elisa Branca's practice focuses on civil and criminal litigation.
Her main areas of practice are international asset recovery, business crime and international legal assistance. She acts in complex cases involving individuals, companies and States.
