We were delighted to host our annual Asset Recovery and Fraud Dinner on Thursday 12 March at restaurant El Faro, right after the first Geneva International Legal Week 2026 and during the C5 Fraud Asset Tracing & Recovery Geneva Conference.
Thank you to all our friends and colleagues who attended.
Set against the unique backdrop of Lake Geneva, the gathering provided a valuable opportunity to engage with leading practitioners around the theme: "Is Lake Geneva freezing? Geneva as an international jurisdiction of choice to litigate over civil, debt enforcement, insolvency, and criminal freezing orders, compared with other jurisdictions".
The discussion was led by our partner Yves Klein, together with Oren Warshavsky (BakerHostetler) and Marina Hadjisoteriou FCIArb (@Patrikios Pavlou & Associates), and was followed by drinks.
It also created a valuable space to exchange perspectives and strengthen connections within the legal community in an informal and welcoming setting.
A warm thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to an enjoyable evening of discussions and connections.
We would also like to take this opportunity to highlight the work of Association Le Bateau Genève, which supports people facing homelessness and social hardship in Geneva.
On the shores of Lake Geneva, Le Bateau Genève is far more than a boat. It is a place of dignity, support and renewed hope for those in need. Through its initiatives, the association provides:
- Daily meals and emergency assistance to people experiencing hardship
- Daytime shelter and social reintegration support
- Work reintegration programmes and skills-building opportunities
- A social and cultural space that promotes inclusion and strengthens community ties
By supporting Le Bateau Genève, you help make a tangible difference in the lives of some of the most vulnerable members of our community: https://lnkd.in/ee4yFpp3
